Hunter is a live-bodied point guard who is full of energy and moves well without the ball. He knows how to find the open spots as a cutter. 

Hunter has a good feel for the game and does a great job of making the right play in pick-n-roll sets, either scoring or passing to the open man.

Hunter's size and athleticism set him apart from other Japanese point guards. In past seasons, he demonstrated his versatility by playing the 1-3 positions. Hunter can guard 1-4.

 

He has a good basketball IQ and works relentlessly on improving his game. He will continue to improve each year.  

Off the court, Hunter enjoys fan interactions and has an interest in fashion. Hunter speaks fluent English and Japanese.
