Monica is a versatile forward wing who plays well with both hands and contributes to her team in a variety of ways. Monica has a high basketball IQ, and is experienced playing elite level basketball in international competitions.
Monica has a strong body that she uses well on defense as as well as to get past her man when driving to the basket. She is effective in the paint getting rebounds and is active in the passing lanes with getting deflections.
Monica played a key role on the Japan National Team when they won the Silver medal at the Tokyo Olympic Games, and has played in numerous FIBA outings including in the women's World Cup and Asia Cup.
