Monica is a versatile forward wing who plays well with both hands and contributes to her team in a variety of ways. Monica has a high basketball IQ, and is experienced playing elite level basketball in international competitions.

Monica has a strong body that she uses well on defense as as well as to get past her man when driving to the basket. She is effective in the paint getting rebounds and is active in the passing lanes with getting deflections. 

Monica played a key role on the Japan National Team when they won the Silver medal at the Tokyo Olympic Games, and has played in numerous FIBA outings including in the women's World Cup and Asia Cup.

Monica is a strong 3pt shooter who can stretch the floor. She consistently shoots 35-40% from beyond the arc. She moves well without the ball and can score off the dribble. 

Monica trains and plays with discipline. She is a student of the game who is highly motivated to continue improving. She aspires to play in the WNBA and her dedication reflects that goal. Monica enjoys fan interactions and speaks fluent Japanese and conversational English.
